从网上无意看到这样一个词：叫做Cyberwidow。

　　cyberwidow 是由"cyber" 网络和"widow" 寡妇组成，那么翻译成“网络寡妇”是什么意思呢?

　　The word refers to the wife of a man who spends a lot of time working or playing on his computer.

　　这个词是指妻子花大部分时间用丈夫的电脑工作或者网上狂欢。

　　Previously in Europe where football is very popular among men, when the World's Cup was held, the man of a family would be totally indulged in the watching the game on TV, which resulted in the snub of housewives.

　　In the same sense, the appearance of cyberwidows results from their husbands' indulge in working or playing with computers. There's even a website of cyberwidows.

　　根据研究表明，半数以上的网络成瘾者报告网络的过度使用已经导致了严重的人际关系问题，“网上狂欢”已经影响到婚姻关系，约会关系，亲子关系和朋友关系。

　　以家庭关系为例，成瘾行为影响了家庭职责和义务的履行，使得其配偶变成了“网络寡妇”(Cyberwidow)。

　　成瘾者以上网为借口，推脱那些必须而又不愿履行的诸如洗衣服，修剪草坪和购物等日常杂务。随着中国网民数量的增加，出现了越来越多的网络寡妇，随之出现的社会现象也越来越严重.

　　与之相关的，让我想到以前人们沉迷于电视机。故有couch potato之说。同样的道理，沉迷于上网的人又可叫做mouse potato. 现在的人更是有过之无不及。有越来越多的women 沉迷于开心农场，泡泡堂等这些网络游戏。因此这样的热词应运而生。适当的玩乐固然是种放松。只是不要影响了线下的生活和人际交往才好。
