Rowing a Boat on the Daming Lake
to the tune of the World being Overjoyed

Sails the painted boat
Out of the troubled earth;
Men take spring remote
From heaven in mirth.
Between waters and mist,
So vast are heaven and earth,
Harmoniously in all directions clouds and mountains exist.
In waters shadowy cities and towers interline,
And golden waves are flashing in our cups of wine.
While poems are chanted aloud shaking the blue sky,
With the coming of the boat all white birds away fly.
