爱情是个快破产的企业，
假如为了维护自己的信誉；
它雇用的是些美丽的谎，
向头脑去推销它的威力。

爱情总使用太冷酷的阴谋，
让狡狯的欲望都向她供奉。
有的膜拜她，有的就识破，
给她热情的大厦吹进冷风。

爱情的资本变得越来越少，
假如她聚起了一切热情；
只准理智说是，不准说不，
然后资助它到月球去旅行。

虽然她有一座石筑的银行，
但经不起心灵秘密的抖颤，
别看忠诚包围着笑容，
行动的手却悄悄地提取存款。
 

Love

Love is an enterprise becoming impoverished.
If it wants to stick up for its own credit;
It would hire some beautiful lies, and
Promote the sale of its power to the head.

Love always uses too cruel machinations,
Letting all the crafty desires provide for her.
Some worship her and some see her through
And blow cold wind into her delirious mansions.

Love’s capitals are becoming less and less,
If she has assembled all her delirium;
Only permits sense to say yes, not no,
And then stake it in the tour to the moon.

Though she has a bank made of stones,
She cannot stand the heart’s secret trembles,
Never mind the smiles surrounded with faith,
The hands are stealthily drawing deposits.
